About Us
A Brief History
We're Risa and Dani. We've been BFFs for over a decade. We met at work and bonded over our similar back stories, love of all the geeky things, and our general craziness. After that, the rest is history. A quick run down on us, we both: work in Social Services, are married (to our husbands, not each other, not officially anyway), are millennials, love Marvel, lost our dads to the same type of rare cancer, and are atheists. We learned a little late in life to just be ourselves and who cares what everyone else thinks. Dani lives in Oregon, while Risa lives in California. We did live in the same town at one point but Dani moved away (how rude!). But even living in separate states won't damper our friendship. Risa has 1 kiddo, a daughter, and Dani does not have, nor want, children. Risa drinks, Dani vapes.We started this podcast just for fun, but love doing it so much we just keep making it.
